Ponderosa Pediatrics is the Prescott (Arizona) area’s largest, most accessible children’s health facility. Since 1984, parents have trusted their children to our friendly, board certified physicians and mid-level providers.

Walk in hours for patients with minor illnesses or injuries. New patients are welcome during walk-in hours, but may be required to pay for the visit in full if insurance cannot be verified. Refunds are made when insurance pays for services.

Mon - Fri from 7:45-9 a.m.
Mon - Thu from 4-7 p.m.

Same day appointments are guaranteed for established and new patient sick visits. Well child checks for established and new patients are frequently available same day...ask and we will schedule you if we can!

The same day guarantee means that we will offer at least one appointment time that day. If you cannot make the same day appointment offered, you can be seen during walk in hours, but may have to wait. On Fridays, we may have to extend appointment offer to Saturday as there are no walk-in hours in the afternoon. Calls received after noon may have to come for our evening walk-in hours (M-Th) or on Saturday (Friday afternoons).
